Today is the last day of the Right Whale Festival in Fernandina Beach. Come down to Main Beach Park (32 N. Fletcher Ave) from 10am to 3pm to participate in this annual festival. Right Whale is part of a regional effort to educate the public on the endangered North Atlantic right whales. They give birth and nurse their young in the warmer waters offered by the coast of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. Sadly, there are fewer than 350 right whales remaining. The festival advocates for and educates on the protection of the species from extinction. There will be whale-themed activities, marine exhibits, live music, arts and craft vendors, kids’ activities, a beach clean-up, food, and more! The event is FREE for all ages. Today was the first day of the Foo Foo Festival’s Bubble Alley. Bubble Alley is a free public art exhibit that will be on display from November 3-14. The display features thousands of reusable vinyl bubbles suspended above Intendencia Street. Bubble Alley is brought to the public by the Friends of Downtown Pensacola. The exhibit will be walkable from the downtown shops, bars, galleries, and restaurants. Learn more by visiting the 
The 8th annual Freeport Bayfest is coming soon! On November 6th from 10am-6pm, the family-friendly festival will be taking place at Hammock Trl E in Freeport. Admission to the event is FREE but as there will be a number of vendors, festival-goers should come prepared with cash and card. Bayfest will also feature live entertainment, a cooking contest, jeep show, children’s art contest, pony rides, mullet toss, corn hole, and more! The event will begin at 10am with a Ribbon Cutting by Miss Freeport Queens. The cook-off will begin at 11am. The mullet toss will take place at 3pm. 
Today is National American Beer Day! Celebrate by visiting a local brewery. This is an annual event designed to help celebrate domestic lagers and ales brewed across the United States. 
This Sunday, October 30th, First Baptist Church Quincy is hosting their Fall Festival. Come out from 3pm to 5pm CDT to enjoy a family fun day outside at the barn for food, games, and more! The Festival will take place outdoors in a barn so please be sure to dress for the weather. 
McKenzie Park is hosting a Family Movie Night this Friday, October 28th. The Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus, will start playing at 7pm. Viewers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks (alcohol not allowed). There will be snacks available for purchase and the proceeds will go to support the local Girl Scout troop. Donations will also be accepted. Please note that the event itself is FREE. 
Milk and Honey Soft Serve & Coffee Shop will be hosting a Hocus Pocus Trivia Night. The questions will cover both the classic 90s Hocus Pocus as well as Hocus Pocus 2 (now streaming on Disney+). The trivia night will take place on Tuesday, October 25 at 7 pm!
