Director Mike Flanagan is returning to south Alabama to film a new Stephen King movie, The Life of Chuck. “The Life of Chuck” tells the story of Charles Krantz life. The cast currently includes Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill.
According to reporting from Gulf Coast Media, the local booking agency says 1,000 extras are needed for the film in a range of ages from 11 years old and up. Two large crowd scenes are planned to be filmed in Baldwin County.

The Northeast Florida Fair is comming to Callahan this week! From October 12-22, visit to enjoy Nassau County’s annual fair. Sykes Family Farms’ 9-acre corn maze is once again open for the spooky season! Located in Elkton, this crop maze has four phases. Guests are provided with a question-filled passport to help guide them through the maze. This year’s maze is a tribute to country legend Reba McEntire; expect some themed crop patterns and more! Admission to the crop maze also includes hayrides, duck races, pedal carts, corn popper, a chance to meet the farm animals, and the playground. The maze is open during daylight hours and after dark. The Stamped Film Festival is coming soon! From September 28th to October 1st, come out to the Pensacola Little Theatre to celebrate the artistic contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) films and filmmakers. The festival began in 2012 and strives to foster a more inclusive local community. In fact, its current name, Stamped, is a throwback to the mid-1990s when LGBTQ visitors would “stamp” their money so that local officials and business owners would know the extent of the LGBTQ+ community’s economic impact.
The Pensacola Para Con is happening September 23-24 at the Pensacola Expo Hall. This annual event salutes sci-fi, paranormal, horror, metaphysical, and pop culture.
