North Florida Wildflower Festival

The North Florida Wildflower Festival is coming up soon! Come out to Blountstown on Saturday, April 29th from 9am-2pm. The Florida Panhandle, from Jacksonville to Pensacola, is dotted with small towns that boast southern charm and gorgeous natural scenery. The Blountstown Wildflower Festival is one of the most popular events of each spring in Calhoun and surrounding counties. The Festival will feature food vendors, artists, crafters, nurseries, and more! The festival is family and well-behaved pet friendly. There will be kid-friendly activities such as train rides at the M&B Depot. Come out to Magnolia Square to soak in the small-town festival vibes and enjoy a lovely afternoon. Flea Across Florida: Washington County

The Washington County segment of Flea Across Florida will be held April 14-15, 2023. Flea Across Florida is a 275-mile yard sale that stretches from Live Oak to Pensacola, and it’s coming to Washington County and surrounding areas soon! The market will be open from 6-5pm daily.

There will be individuals from surrounding areas selling furniture, clothing, and so much more! The market will take place over Historic Highway 90 in Chipley at T&B Hidden Treasures. Visit Washington County’s Flea Market to help “revitalize and support those historic communities along the highway.”

North Forida Vegfest

The 7th Annual North Florida VegFest is coming to Tallahassee on March 4th! Visit Tom Brown Park from 10am to 4pm to enjoy the festival. Tom Brown Park is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your well-behaved, four-legged friends; they must be on leash. VegFest is put on by the Tallahassee Vegan/Vegetarian Community to celebrate and educate on the veg-lifestyle. The festival focuses on healthy, sustainable, and compassionate living and is appropriate for all ages and all lifestyles. Entry to the festival is FREE but vendors will be taking cash and card, so come prepared. The festival will feature speakers, cooking demos, food vendors, artisans, healthy living vendors, eco-friendly vendors, non-profits, kids’ activities, and free vegan food samples! Looking for a new coffee shop to visit in the Lynn Haven area? Consider Sola! Located on Tennessee Avenue, Sola is a coffee bar, fondue experience, and cafe. Open Monday through Saturday, the cafe regularly hosts events ranging from paint and pours to trivia night. They are also available for private events. Sola keeps you coming back with their seasonal drinks; we recommend the Blueberry Fizz, a delicious sparkling water with blueberry syrup. Farm & Craft Swap

Mid-South Lumber Co of Northwest Florida invites you to visit their Farm, Garden, Craft & Animal Swap next Saturday, January 14th! The FREE event will run from 8am to 2pm. The Swap will feature plenty of local vendors with fresh produce, baked items, canned goods, hand-made arts & crafts, plants, small animals, and more. Salty Oaks: White Lie New Year Party

Salty Oak Brewing Co. is bringing a fun New Year’s tradition to their December 31st party: a little White Lie Party! Starting at 6pm, join the Salty Oak family for beer, a free champagne toast at midnight, food from KB Cooks (the chicken man), and fun! The White Lie Party Rules are as follows:

  • All attendees must wear a white shirt with a white life written on it with a permanent marker.
  • A white lie is a small lie/confession; something along the lines of “I’m always on time.” White lies SHOULD NOT be serious lies or deceptions that would insult or hurt others.
  • Take turns telling the stories behind your lies. The more embarrassing or amusing, the better!
  • Have fun, be kind, and get to know your friends/part attendees better.

    The last 30A Farmers’ Market will be next Thursday, December 29th. Come by Rosemary Beach for an end-of-the-year holiday market. It will run from 9 am to 1 pm.
